Biography
Michael Stumpf
I am a senior undergraduate student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UIUC. My research focuses on bridging additive manufacturing and topology optimization. I am interested in the biomedical engineering and sustainable construction applications of additive manufacturing for two-scale topology optimized designs. Additionally, I am interested in metamaterials, and their real-world applications.
